  • Founder and Recovery Coach

    Hi! I'm Kathryn.

A little about me: I grew up in Baltimore, Maryland and moved to Denver to attend the University of Denver. I fell in love with this city and now call it home!

I struggled with anorexia for too many years. I want to help others find the joy and freedom I found by healing my relationship with food and with myself. In addition to my lived experience, I studied psychology with a concentration in cognitive neuroscience at the University of Denver. I am a certified health coach and hold a separate certification in nutrition science from Cornell University.

Outside of work I love shopping, trying new restaurants, walks in the sunshine, and night drives with good music.

I’m here to guide you on a journey to loving your life, feeling confident in your body, and enjoying all foods. I want to help you explore and develop a new mindset around food, exercise, and body image, where guilt-free nourishment and self-compassion take the spotlight.

  • Recovery Coach

Hi, I’m Madi. I grew up in Long Beach, California, and studied philosophy at Cal Poly in SanLuis Obispo. My studies gave me an appreciation for different perspectives and how we each make meaning of our experiences. After graduation, I moved to Colorado and now call Boulder home!

I struggled with anorexia and disordered eating throughout my teens, and recovery changed the way I see myself and others. It taught me resilience, self-compassion, and the power of connection. I want to bring those lessons into the work I do—being fully present, creating space where you feel understood, and walking alongside you in recovery so you know you don’t have to do it alone. Along with my own lived experience, I’ve worked in the eating disorder community and am dedicated to offering compassionate, person-centered care.

Outside of work, I’m happiest in the sun, reading a good book, or having a spontaneous dance party to my favorite music.

  • Recovery Coach

    Hi, my name is Chelsea!

With a B.S in human nutrition and dietetics, and years of experience working alongside therapists, physicians, and dietitians, I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore challenges with food while feeling supported.

My passion for this work is deeply personal. After struggling with an eating disorder for over 12 years, I know firsthand the challenges of recovery and the gaps that exist in traditional treatment systems. Transitioning from a highly structured environment to navigating recovery on my own was the hardest period of my life, yet it taught me resilience and strength. Today, I am proud to say I’ve been in recovery for nearly 10 years, and it is my honor to walk alongside others in their healing journeys.

Outside of my work, I find joy in nature, creativity, and movement. I love spending time roller skating, dancing, rock climbing, snowboarding, and being with my dog, friends, and family. I also enjoy working on creative projects that bring me balance and inspiration.

  • Director of Operations

    Hi, I’m Michele!

My journey has shaped both a professional path and a passion for supporting others in their own recovery and wellness. Growing up in a multicultural home, food was always at the center of family life—my grandmother insisted on full plates, while societal and family pressures fueled self-consciousness and body image struggles. Like many young women of the early 2000s, I faced the weight of unrealistic beauty standards, along with postpartum anxiety and depression after childbirth, which led to years of insecurity and hyperfixation. But with time, healing and healthy habits, along with some help, I overcame my issues for good.

As Director of Operations at Recover at Home, I bring not only my organizational expertise but also deep empathy and understanding. I know firsthand that healing is not linear and that support, compassion, and structure make all the difference. Outside of work, I enjoy live music, dancing, reading, hiking, traveling, and spending time with my partner and our four daughters (yes, 4). Coffee keeps me going in the mornings, while a good glass of wine helps me unwind at night.

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Hi! I’m Nancy. I am a licensed clinical social worker specializing in adult counseling, parent counseling, ADD/ADHD, and marriage and family counseling. I received my B.A from Dartmouth College and my MSW from the University of Maryland.

In 2013 our oldest daughter, Kathryn was diagnosed with anorexia nervosa. For my husband and me, parenting a child with an eating disorder was terrifying and painful. And through this experience we often felt isolated and overwhelmed. I want you to know that you are not alone, and that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

As a therapist, I am here to help parents of children with eating disorders, first, eliminate defeating emotions, and second, assist them in developing skills to best support their child.
