OUr service

We use a step-down model. We determine how much support you need and we step down as you progress through recovery. After the first month of getting to know you, your eating disorder, your family, and your treatment team, Kathryn will develop a personalized milestone map. This will be a guide for how you are progressing and when we decrease support. Although everyone’s recovery looks a little different, we do see timeline trends.

(Average length is 6-18 months from start to finish). This depends on the individual and the severity of their eating disorder.

Example of how step-down support often looks.

  • Month 1 and 2: 10-12 hours/day 7 days/week.

  • Month 3 and 4: 8 hours/day 7 days/week

  • Month 5 and 6: 6 hours/day 6 days/week

  • Month 6-8: 4 hours/day 5 days/week

  • Month 9 and 10: 2 hours/day 3 days/week

  • Month 11 and 12: 1 hour every other week (for a dinner out). By this point you are very far into recovery . This catch up is simply to catch up and hang out. This is when accountability is fully transferred from coach to the individual.

OTHER HELPFUL INFORMATION:

  • We have seen clients reach full recovery in as little as 6 months to as long as 20 months. By the time we phase out, our clients are done with treatment, fully independent, and equipped with the skills to maintain recovery for life.

  • While this may seem like a lengthy commitment, our goal is sustainability.

  • On average, residential, PHP, and outpatient combined for one round of treatment takes about 12 months as well. Unfortunately though, many patients relapse and need to do this 2,3,4,5 times.

  • Our coaching method using personalized milestones

  • Meal planning, preparation, observation, and support

  • Collaboration and communication with outpatient treatment team

  • Accelerating the journey to independence and lifelong freedom from your eating disorder
