For treatment teams
Refer a client for in-home recovery coaching
For therapists, dietitians, physicians, addiction counselors and discharge planners in Colorado and Wyoming. Recover at Home coaches give your clients daily support between sessions, for eating disorders, other mental health disorders and substance use disorders. They follow your plan and send you regular written updates. See the step-down model.
What coaches do
- Prepare meals and snacks from the dietitian’s plan (eating disorders)
- Support ERP homework, routines and sleep from your plan (mental health)
- Sober companionship and going to meetings together (alcohol and drugs)
- Prompt clients to use the skills you’ve taught
- Bring clients to appointments and debrief afterwards
- Share observations with you on a regular schedule
What coaches don’t do
- Diagnose, prescribe or provide therapy
- Write meal plans, design exposures, run drug tests or handle medication
- Change the treatment plan. You stay in charge of it
- Work with medically unstable clients or during refeeding
