My recovery story
Hello! My name is Bailey Jo. I grew up between rural Chamisal near Taos, New Mexico and Aztec, NM, before moving to Colorado to attend Colorado State University. I am immensely privileged to have pursued higher education, earning my B.S. in Human Nutrition and Food Science, and am committed to using both my professional training and lived eating disorder experience to support those navigating recovery. Today, I have been in recovery for five years and continue to find solace in cooking allergy-safe meals at home, cycle syncing, connecting with food through gardening, and understanding the science of metabolism.
It has been profound to reconnect with myself, heal my relationship with food, and to share in the uniting joy cooking and eating can bring!
