Why I do this work
Hi! I’m Nancy. I am a licensed clinical social worker specializing in adult counseling, parent counseling, ADD/ADHD, and marriage and family counseling. I received my B.A from Dartmouth College and my MSW from the University of Maryland.
In 2013 our oldest daughter, Kathryn was diagnosed with an eating disorder. For my husband and me, parenting a child with an eating disorder was terrifying and painful. And through this experience we often felt isolated and overwhelmed. I want you to know that you are not alone, and that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
As a therapist, I am here to help parents of children with eating disorders, first, eliminate defeating emotions, and second, assist them in developing skills to best support their child.
